For this project I was contracted to create 3D animated videos to help explain educational content for a certification course. The job consisted of creating 14 videos for this course, of which 10 required animation. Each of the videos was around 1-2 minutes long. This course aimed to teach motorcycle drivers that work on races how they are supposed to safely move around the race course. Almost all assets in this project are purchased. With the exception of the character models I textured all the assets to ensure a realistic appearance. Since I had to make a lot of animation as one person I decided to make animation system to streamline the animation process. This system consisted of modules, or rigs that connected to each other, allowing me to draw a bézier curve and have either the bicycle or motorcycle drive along that curve, animating correctly the whole way. This decision immensely simplified the animation process. For this project I worked within the 3D software Modo. I rendered the shots using the Octane plugin for Modo.
